Learned C++ with the wxWindows toolkit, using Linux on
PowerPC, bash, XEmacs, and gdb, to deliver cross-platform
multi-threaded GUI for networked application (to run fast on
Microsoft Windows, Linux, Linux PPC, MacOS X, many other
platforms). Programming user asset management software, GUI
interface, as part of a small startup with friends, fellow
ex-NU programmers, Redshift Software, while seeking a full-time
paid position.

Macintosh G3 Series Powerbook: MacOS X, MacOS 9, Yellow Dog
Linux 2.2 and 2.1 quadruple-boot (thus encountering Linux
partition limit for a single disk). Upgraded disk, memory,
operating systems, programming tools; installed IP masquerading
in Linux; performed troubleshooting and made fixes, such as
accelerated video performance X server, a running Mac-on-Linux
from external SCSI disk, building new software, contributing to
Mozilla free software community. Webmaster duties at

content through hand-coded PHP and html for
HalinaFAQ
archive and
its mirror.
